The DBA 5000 Series rotors are a composite, two-piece direct replacement brake rotor designed for optimal performance in demanding conditions. DBA uses only the highest quality materials to ensure durability and superior braking power. The rotors feature high-carbon cast-iron rings combined with aerospace-grade aluminum hats (T6061-T6), secured with National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts. This construction not only enhances heat dissipation but also reduces weight, making them ideal for high-performance street driving, track days, club racing, and rally applications.

With the benefits of reduced weight and improved heat management, the 5000 Series rotors maintain all the advanced performance technologies found in the 4000 Series. The aerospace-grade aluminum hats minimize unsprung weight while allowing uniform radial disc expansion through the cast-iron rings. This leads to decreased heat transfer from the disc to the hub, improving overall braking efficiency and longevity. DBA offers complete assemblies, including both the hats and flat discs, or replacement hats and flat disc rotors, giving drivers the flexibility to reuse their existing DBA 5000 Series hats with new flat discs.
